Model
Amrita Rao attended C.G High School in Mumbai,and later enrolled in Sophia College to pursue a degree in psychology. While studying there, she auditioned for an advertisement for Fairever Face Cream. To her surprise she was selected amongst 60 other contestants. After that, she got many offers and became one of the most sought-after models in India within a year.
Her appearance in Cadbury’s Perk Karwa Chaut ad and the Bru Coffee advertisement helped her receive offers from film directors in Bollywood. Wanting to complete her education, she refused them. After earning a degree in psychology, she began her profession as an actress, working in films.

Early life
Dutta was born on April 16, 1978 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her father is Wing Commander L.K. Dutta (retired) and her mother is Jennifer Puddi. She also has two older sisters, one of whom serves in the Indian Air Force and a well known younger sister. Famed composer and DJ Nitin Sawhney is Dutta's cousin. The Dutta family moved to Bangalore in 1981 where she completed high school from St.Francis Xavier Girl's High School. Lara graduated in economics with a minor in communications from Bombay University at Bangalore. She was crowned Miss Universe in 2000 which led to her appointment as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador in 2001

Lara had dated Kelly Dorjee,model, for a very long time, but recently split, due to unknown sources. Sources have also been said that Lara is dating bollywood star Dino Morea, who is one of Kelly's close friends and also a very close friend of Lara. They have known each other for about 17 years now.
Modeling career
Dutta won the annual Gladsrags modelling competition in her native India, thus winning the right to be the first Indian representative at the 1997 Miss Intercontinental pageant, in which she took first place. Later, she was crowned Femina Miss India Universe and Miss Universe in 2000.










Genelia D'Souza (Born in Mumbai, India) is a young actress in India. She is a Christian by birth .Her parents originally hail from Goa and later moved to Mumbai. She has acted over a dozen films in South Indian Cinema.
Career
Genelia studied at Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra, a suburb in Mumbai. After school, she joined the St. Andrews College, Bandra to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. Mumbai-based Genelia starred in the big budgeted Boys by top director Shankar. She starred opposite fellow débutante Siddharth.
She left Kollywood for a while to concentrate on the Tollywood industry, starring in other successful films including, Satyam, Masti, Samba and Sye. She followed it up with a pairing with popular actor Venkatesh in Subhash Chandra Bose. She returned to the Tamil industry with the Sachein with Vijay.It was a mediocre movie that beat Mumbai Express and lost to Chandramukhi which were all released on April 14, 2005. An important information about this movie is that it was shot at brisk speed as it was an interim project for Vijay, squeezed between Thirupachi and Sivakasi, with him pairing for the first time with Asin in the latter while his lucky lady, Trisha was his lead lady in the earlier mentiond. In Telugu, Happy opposite Allu Arjun was a hit. Bommarillu, with Siddharth Narayan, is a super hit and won Best Movie Award in the Santosham Film Awards. Chennai Kadhal, her Tamil project did average business.[1] She was also a part of Mani Ratnam's stage show, Netru, Indru, Naalai. Recently, she won the Filmfare Award as a Best Actress for her performance in the block buster Telugu movie Bommarillu for the year 2006. She acted in her first Kannada film Satya In Love in 2008. The film grossed close to 4 crores in its opening weekend creating a new record in the Kannada film industry.
